    Awesome location, heaps of mountains to climb and hike. Great camping spots as well.

    We did the lower portals walk. Thecwalk there is nothing special, but the actual portals were amazing. Huge boulders strwn everywhere, steep sided gorge, lovely stream, crystal clear water. Despite it being freezing cold l even took a dip. In warmer weather l would continue through the creek up to the upper portals. Will definitely be back.

    I loved climbing Mt Maroon. It wasn't easy for me, but totally worth it. Beautiful scenery waited for me on the top.

    Great walk, don't turn right at the ➕ if u don't like sketchy Heights though, go straight, past it
